What is the FreshFit 500?

The FreshFit 500 is a non compulsory series of fitness grades.

It’s an opportunity for you to have a series of goals which will push you and help you stay focused on your fitness journey.

Why is it called the FreshFit 500?

We figured that if we had to explain what the 500 was each time then it’s probably way too complicated.

In the end we kept the “ 500″ as a homage to our origins but decided to keep it simple in the long run.

First Grade – Blue

⦁ A 1.5 mile run in 15 minutes.
⦁ 15 press ups in 1 minute.
⦁ 15 half sits in 1 minute.
⦁ 15 squats in 1 minute.
⦁ 15 burpees in 1 minute.

If a steady state run is not possible then 20 metre shuttles may be selected by the individual, the number of shuttles will be advised on the day by the Session Boss.

Second Grade – Red

⦁ A 2 mile run in 20 minutes.
⦁ 20 press ups in 2 minutes.
⦁ 20 half sits in 2 minutes.
⦁ 20 squats in 2 minutes.
⦁ 20 burpees in 2 minutes.

If a steady state run is not possible then 20 metre shuttles may be selected by the individual, the number of shuttles will be advised on the day by the Session Boss.

Third Grade – Green

⦁ A 2.5 mile run in 22:30 minutes
⦁ 25 press ups in 2 minutes.
⦁ 25 half sits in 2 minutes.
⦁ 25 squats in 2 minutes.
⦁ 25 burpees in 2 minutes.

If a steady state run is not possible then 20 metre shuttles + 25 star jumps in 2 minutes may be selected by the individual, the number of shuttles will be advised on the day by the Session Boss.

Fourth Grade – Brown

⦁ A 3-mile run in 26:15 minutes.
⦁ 30 press ups
⦁ 30 half sits
⦁ 30 squats
⦁ 30 burpees

If a steady state run is not possible then 20 metre shuttles + 30 star jumps in 2 minutes may be selected by the individual, the number of shuttles will be advised on the day by the Session Boss.

Fifth Grade – Maroon

⦁ A 4-mile run in 34:30 minutes.
⦁ 40 press ups
⦁ 40 half sits
⦁ 40 squats
⦁ 40 burpees

If a steady state run is not possible then 20 metre shuttles + 40 star jumps in 2 minutes may be selected by the individual, the number of shuttles will be advised on the day by the Session Boss.

Sixth Grade – Purple

⦁ A 5-mile run.
⦁ 50 press ups
⦁ 50 half sits
⦁ 50 squats
⦁ 50 burpees

The run is a group run in which you will be expected to run at approximately an 8.30 min mile pace.

You will have 60 minutes to complete the run and the exercises.

Seventh Grade – Yellow

⦁ A 7.5-mile run.
⦁ 75 press ups
⦁ 75 half sits
⦁ 75 squats
⦁ 75 burpees

The run is a group run in which you will be expected to run at approximately an 8.15 min mile pace.

You will have 80 minutes to complete the run and the exercises.

Eighth Grade – Orange

⦁ A 10-mile run.
⦁ 100 press ups
⦁ 100 half sits
⦁ 100 squats
⦁ 100 burpees

The run is a group run in which you will be expected to run at approximately an 8.00 min mile pace.

You will have 105 minutes to complete the run and the exercises.
