Cracked it first time!
That was easy!

Said almost nobody ever!
When you attend a FreshFit session it can sometimes be a little frustrating when you see someone else there completing some of the more difficult or challenging exercises or goals with apparent ease…

But don’t forget, that person has almost definitely had to work hard at where they are, challenge themselves and persevere… get help and advice and really understand what the challenge is, what is needed to achieve it and listen to how their body is adapting to the training needed to get there.

Mo Farah was not an Olympic running god from the word go!
The Williams sisters would not be the champions they are without hours and hours of training and coaching.

We need to understand what makes someone “good” at what they do…

First of all, they need to commit somehow to achieving their goal. You don’t have to be great to start, but in order to be great – you have to start.

They need to believe they can do it… whatever it is.

Belief is over 50% of the challenge.

Understand with success – there has to be some small failures along the way – these make you so much stronger and help you learn and adapt!

Be realistic!

Personally, I love the following saying;
“Never give out while there is hope; but hope not beyond reason, for that shows more desire than judgment.”
